Surviving Armed Encounters
STUDENTS MUST BE PROFICIENT IN THE USE OFÂ THEIR OWN FIREARM BEFORE TAKING THIS COURSE!
This course will cover the fundamentals of concelaed carry in an urban environment, as well as equipment options & tactics. The course includes live-fire instruction with various drills designed to increase proficiency from concealment, movement, malfunction clearing, reloading drills, and close quarters shooting tactics.
Course Duration: 3 hours
Required:
- Handgun with at least three (3) magazines, concealed carry holster, and belt-mounted magazine pouch (Holsters must mount at the belt line. NO ANKLE OR SHOULDER HOLSTERS)
- At least 250 rounds of ammunition (NOT INCLUDED IN THE COST OF THIS COURSE)
- Sturdy belt, supportive trousers, closed toe shoes, and concealment garment (light jacket or overshirt)
- Eye & ear protecttion (NO SUNGLASSES)
- Water/snacks
*THIS COURSE MUST BE SCHEDULED NO LESS THAN 72 HOURS IN ADVANCE. SIGN-UPS INSIDE OF THIS ADVANCE PERIOD WILL BE MOVED TO THE NEXT SCHEDULED CLASS DAY!
